Wisconsin Hunters Use Road Kill to Earn a Buck
The idea is to shoot a doe in order to earn a chance to kill a buck in some counties. It's meant to trim the overpopulation of deer.

But, the DNR says some hunters are taking the easy way out and using road kill to register to shoot a buck.

Montgomery, AL - Bad place for a fawn to get lost:
Fawn finds safe refuge at Bass Pro (From Montgomery Advertiser, August 21, 2007 -- Relax. Bambi's fine. Employees at Prattville's Bass Pro Shops and a state game warden rescued a baby deer Monday morning, corralling the fawn that had wandered near the front of the store. The little animal was so young it still had its spots. Heidi Brooks, who handles promotions for the outdoors superstore, spotted it about 7:30 a.m. "We tried to keep everybody away from it, so we wouldn't scare it away."
