Keep Rocks and Dirt Out of Your Waders
I like to keep a spare floor mat in the trunk of my truck to throw on the ground when I change into and out of my waders. This prevents pebbles and dirt from sticking to my socks and entering my waders—and it keeps my truck cleaner.

Your truck has a trunk? A old piece of carpet works just as well...

I use a large pvc dry bag to stand on when I change. At the end of the day, my boots go in the bag. Something as a two-fer.

That's so sweet, Wildero. Did your mom teach you that?

Sorry, in the cargo area of my SUV. Everyone else knew what I meant.
An old carpet doesn't have a rubber backing which prevents the water from seeping through.
A garbage bag is a good idea but the floor mat comes in handy when brushing off debris from your socks.
