Turn Shotgun Shells into a Matchstick Holder

I made a waterproof matchstick case from two used shotgun shells. I used a 12- and 16-gauge shell, but all that matters is that one shell is slightly smaller than the other. Simply stick your matches and some striking paper in the smaller of the two shells, then snugly insert it into the larger shell. I’ve been doing this since I was 10 years old, and it’s never let me down.

I've done this before works well!

Is this really waterproof? Say you go and drop it in a puddle, are your matches gonna still be dry? I gotta try this...

Never dropped it in a puddle. Probably will have wet matches though.

Great tip...also try an old chap-stick tube, it's waterproof.
