Pet Pug Caught and Released by Alaska Wolf
According to this Anchorage Daily News article, a black wolf that Juneau residents have dubbed “Romeo” has lost it’s fear of humans, has been seen attempting to “play” with area dogs, and has made a particular friendship with a light-colored pug. It’s not clear how friendly the predator was being last week, however, when it picked the pug up like a rabbit and started running across frozen Mendenhall Lake. It did eventually release the dog unharmed. Check out the story and photos here.
