Nor'easter Socks Northeast
Yesterday evening, while snowblowing knee-deep white stuff off my long driveway, a cottontail rabbit ambled out to the steep edge of where I’d been, slid down the precipice, and found himself trapped in the driveway with nearly-3-foot-high white walls on every side. I made the critter a little snow ramp so it could get back on top of the deep stuff and into the brush, and it eventually did. I have to admit, though, I felt a little bad for this bunny, given the weather. But I feel better now that Steve Pollick of the Toledo Blade has set me straight. Here’s one of his most recent columns.
