Is Big Oil Shortchanging Government on Public Land Royalties?

It’s been a while since we’ve checked up on the government’s current stewardship of our public lands. So here’s some news about the latest—or at least one of the recent—scandals, involving accusations of government favors to oil companies drilling on public lands, as well as the fate Interior Department auditors who try to make companies pay the required royalties.
