Weird Whitetail Wreck: Deer winds up lying in couple’s lap

In certain areas, careful drives almost expect deer to dash out in front of their vehicles. But nobody expects them to jump several feet into the air, smash through the windshield, and wind up in lying in their laps, wildly grunting and kicking. So it’s understandable that West Virginia couple Brandon Holley and Amanda Honaker were a little surprised when it happened to them.

'"I’m really proud of my boyfriend,' Honaker said with a grin. 'He really handled himself very well.'"

It's amazing how low young people's expectations are these days. He just parked and jumped out of the car, there's no indication that he even tried to help her, and she's so proud of him. The ditz.

Anyway, it's a good thing they are both OK, which is more than I can say for their relationship.

The accident was extremely chaotic and had Brandon not acted as he did, a tree or another vehicle may have been just as involved in the crash as the deer which could have caused a far worse tragic experience.

And as far as our relationship is concerned....he's sitting beside me as I type!
