Gator Bites Angler: Teen fishermen reaches to land fish, gets reptile instead

A few years ago while fishing in Florida, a local angler noted the large knife on my hip and asked, “What the heck is that for?” I said, “It’s to stab the first gator or shark that latches onto my arm when I reach in to land a fish” He got a big chuckle out of that. I can only hope that he’s seen this Star-Banner news story.
