Blacktail Mouth-to-Mouth: City slickers give dying deer CPR

It’s rarely a laughing matter when a deer gets rammed by a vehicle, but in responding to one such incident recently, Wallowa County, Oregon, Detective Neil Rogers just couldn’t help himself. “One guy was giving [the deer] compressions and the other guy was giving it mouth-to-mouth,” Rogers said. “I couldn’t really look over there because I was starting to laugh too hard.” The officer guessed that the guys administering CPR were “probably from Portland.”
