Where is Lee Harvey Oswald now that we need him?

She's no worse than the idiot sitting in the chair right now. He's a moron who doesn't support the second amendment (hence the OSHA crap) and she's a socialist who doesn't support the second amendment.

If you are wealthy Bush helps you out, If you are wealthy Clinton helps you out. If you are middle class or poor they both screw you over. There is no difference between both parties. The independent party needs to put up some viable candidates and we as citizens need to stop this mess before it's too late.

I still say it isn't anyone over there. It's all the voter apathy out here.

Either get off you arse and make something happen or whoever gets the job will. You just wont get a say.

OSHA Comment period has been extended to September 10 due to the comments received to date, the Rush Limbaugh show etc, according to NSSF's "Bullet Points". Yay!!

It still is a serious issue that has the potential to crush ammunition/ordnance and firearms manufacturers. This is real and it isn't going to matter if you reload or not. It will impact all of it.

Please take a few minutes to submit comments in opposition, instructions can be found hyperlinked in the NSSF article.

My son and I are taking a summer welding class at the college. He's taking it because when he graduated a year early from high school, he missed out on more shop classes, and is going to be taking a welding certification course (9 months) at the college next fall. For me, I haven't welded in years, and am very rusty. Plus a lot has changed with welding in the last 30 years.

Anyway, I forgot how damn hot welding is. We were cooked. My hair was totally wet, and the helmet band kept pulling it.

So I figured I'd trim it short.

I fired up the clippers, put in what I thought was a 3/4" blade guide, and made the first cut. Oops. I didn't have my reading glasses on, and grabbed the 1/4" one instead (#2). Valerie laughed and said, "You're committed now, buster."

So there went about five inches of hair. I wonder if any of you who have seen me will recognize me?

Buddy Hinton, I recognize you as soon as your shake your sweet little liberal a**.....

Just as I said, if Hitlery takes office she will see the O.S.H.A. bill is passed; so I post this a second time for the ones who did not see it in the past posting:

I have done a bit more research on the subject that was posted last week on the new O.S.H.A. proposed regulations that would make the shipping of smokeless powders and primers near impossible. I have found that this is a real threat. I contacted Hodgdon Powder Co. and their response was quick and was laced with more than a little bit of fear about the proposed regulation. Their advice was for as many people as possible to contact their congressman and voice their concern over the proposed regulation.

The only way to preserve our freedom is to band together and put as much political pressure as we can on the ones who want to see our way of life fade and disappear.

i hate to say it, but peter c.'s july 10 comment pretty much hit the nail on the head. bush or clinton, the rich get breaks, the middle class shrinks year by year.

some of you will land on this with both feet, but here's what i don't get. with 200-plus million guns out there, centuries of tradition and practice on our side, how serious is the danger - really - that they're gonna grab our guns? i know they ain't grabbing mine. they aren't ipods, after all. granddad's 1911 still cycling just fine.

I completely agree with the comment of Peter C. The "idiot" he refers to is no more a friend of gun owners and hunters than any of the rest of the whole poisonous crowd inhabiting Washington. I have long been puzzled by the knee-jerk support gun owners have given to the obvious liars and crooks in the current administration. They have never been our friends. All of them would sell us out in a heart beat if they saw the slightest political advantage to be gained. We all need to be a great deal less gullible than we have been. Tom

All of our politicians, Democrat and Republican alike, claim to be at the service of the American people. At one time in my life, I thought I had a handle on the meaning of the word "service."

"It's the act of doing things for other people."

Then I heard these terms which reference the word SERVICE:

Internal Revenue Service

U.S. Postal Service

Immigration & Naturalization Service

Civil Service

City & County Public Service

Customer Service

Service Stations

Then I became confused about the word "service ." This is not what I thought "service" meant.

So today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to "service " a few of his cows. BAM! It all came into perspective. Now I understand what all those "service" agencies are doing to us.

I hope you now are as enlightened as I am.

There's doers and talkers, and the talkers talk about what the doers do.

You are seriously off base. I really question YOUR motives. You go from board to board, screaming the same tired old thing. You don't like the ATF procedures that the ATF has been using all along but you didn't know about. So, you blame NFATCA for getting them written down. Dude, this is so, so "High School". Where the heck do you get off calling it "NFATCA's variance requirement?" What, have you been in a barn all your life? Do you have an RPB Overstamp MAC10? That was in the SEVENTIES! Yet, you think there is some new marking requirement and variance procedure? It's been there all along! You just didn't know it! Same with the fact that everyone in the chain of handling NFA firearms has to have a background check, and they require FFL/SOT for that reason for all mfg... so you don't take ten AR15s, give Joey's Chop Shop & Criminal Employment Center a set up to make M16s and your guns disappear. That's what this is about! Accountability with heavily regulated firearms. Ain't nothin' new there.

This is exactly what President Bush wants. You are in with the most vile form of defamation in this country. You are pandering to it. And I resent it, sir.
Just to live in the country is a full-time job. You don't have to do anything. The idle pursuit of making a living is pushed to one side, where it belongs, in favor of Nudity itself, a task of such immediacy, variety, beauty, and excitement that one is powerless to resist its wild, liberating embrace!
You just never know what will turn up. I was driving along in a rural area and there beside the road was a pretty damned good replica of Michaelangelo's "David" about 6 feet tall and finished to look like polished white marble. To say that the statue was "anatomically correct" is something of an understatement.

I couldn't decide whether the damned thing ought to have a pair of underwear put on it or maybe just put a coonskin cap on him and leave it at that.
Today is Shave A Scotsman's Legs Day. Use of a good straight razor and hot lather is recommended and members are urged to exersize all due care in conducting observances. Each Scotsman's clothing and personal items are to be returned to him upon his release.
