Forget the Beach: This Summer, Spend a Week Training with the Navy Seals

Shootin_at_v People choose some fairly odd vacations. Some go to rock and roll or baseball fantasy camp others learn how to drive racing cars or take rides in antique jets. All of these experiences are designed to make you feel more alive. But if you are really seeking to fuel your adrenaline, you might consider the Valhalla Tactical Training Facility in the mountains of central Colorado. There, I learned more about, personal protection, handgun shooting, and tactical gear than I have in two decades of shooting with my police officer buddies.

Valhalla is the only public tactical training facility in the world that is open to the public.  And consider this: All the instructors are former Delta Force, Navy Seals, or Swat Team officers.  In fact, numerous government agencies that travel the world protecting our right to freedom train at the sight.

Using live ammo, you will learn how to clear a room in the dark, shoot a perpetrator with a hostage, and safely fire a handgun under intense stress. You can even learn how to protect yourself with a cane. If you have to ask how much it costs, then you probably can’t afford it. But can you really put a price on your family’s personal safety?  Believe me, you will leave a changed man. I did. http://www.elkmountainresort.com/activities/valhalla.cfm

Well if you cant afford the course you could always become a reservist or active duty member of our great Armed Forces. Like the recruiter says......its not that bad, just sign here (I can make that joke, I served honorably as an active duty member).
