Cheap Technology: Save 50 Percent on Nearly New GPSs

I226793vr02 We are all obsessed with the latest technology. I can’t help it, and you probably can’t either. But if you slow your proverbial megabyte down just a little bit, you can probably save yourself a lot of cash.

For example, you can run out to buy the latest GPS from one of the top companies like Garmin, Magellan, or Lowrance; or you buy last year’s model at half the price.

Will you miss out on a few waypoints, and improved battery life?  Sure.  But unless you are a serious techie, the older model will probably suit you just fine.  After all, it wasn’t old technology 6 months ago. And if you drop your new GPS in a lake this summer or run over it with your truck at camp, you’ll feel a whole lot better knowing that you could have paid much more for it, and didn’t. eBay is one of the first places I check for equipment. There is nothing wrong with "previously enjoyed" equipment......Don't you love how nothing these days is USED :)
