Tim Romano is now getting serious about his day job. Having lived in an earthship outside Taos, New Mexico, a grain silo in Boulder, Colorado, and a minivan in New Zealand, he has finally discovered the wonders of having his own phone and mailbox.
During his vagabond days, Romano traveled from Argentina to the Bahamas to Russia, creating a portfolio of some of the best “on the edge” flyfishing images in the world. He is now a frequent contributor to Field & Stream magazine. Despite Deeter’s claims to the contrary, he knows he would win a one-fly grudge match on any river or flat, and dares the balding lard-ass to take him on … for money.
