Jalapeno Poppers & Shark Surfing
Two videos that I couldn't let slide by without sharing. I know, I know they are not fly fishing but trust me you'll want to see them. The second was filmed by my bass fishing friend Johnny Q from Texas.
Have great day and get out and try something different this weekend. Who knows, maybe it will work.

The jalapeno vid was pretty cool. As for the surfer vid, I got two words for ya:
Bull & shit.

yeah, I'm kinda with you on that one Blue Ox. I'd like to know what the story is behind it though...

If you look you can see he's being towed by either a jet ski or some small craft that's leaving a wake. You can see the dorsal fin on the 'shark' but where is the tail fin?
As for the story behind it, I think dude was trying to make like he had balls or something.
Now the guy who was fishing for mako in the kayak- (was it Bowman, I think?) THAT guy has balls that clank.

yeah it's Conway Bowman. He's a good friend of ours, and yes they clank loud.
He's got a new tv show on Versus called dollar wise fly and you can check out his site here: http://bowmanbluewater.com

my favorite line is "tie my jalepeno on". classic video.
I once saw a guy on the YO Ranch rattle up a whitetail buck with a bottle of Rolaids

The surfing looks like something the fonz would do.
And the title of the post says Jalapeno POPPERS, not PEPPERS.

so wait, fishing with jalapeños is funny, but fishing with corn isn't? sounds like a double standard...

joey, actually jalapenos is not that funny either, but at least it is something new! my daughter is six and does not drive anything into the ground this much.....
