Show Me The Money

The Teva Mountain Games, taking place in Vail, Colo., June 5 – 8, is looking for top fly anglers to compete in the Costa Del Mar Fly Fishing Competition. The competition is open to the first 50 anglers who register at www.tevamountaingames.com, and the entry fee is $25 per person.

The competition will test for distance, accuracy and skill. During the finals, anglers will only be allowed to use one fly pattern. The angler with the most total points at the end of the competition will win the cash purse prize of $2,250.

Go get' em, ffloggers.

(Here's a hint ... that water's going to be rippin'... plan accordingly, and make us proud.)

That lurking gurl

Might be somewhat "chilly" there, as the Dog portion is sponsored by the Humane Society of the U.S. -- not the most hunting/fishing friendly group out there.

Talk about ripping water - The run has started in Colorado:

Cheesman Canyon - 900 cfs
Dream Stream - 250 cfs
11-Mile Canyon - 400 cfs
Blue River - 500 cfs

Oh boy... Strap the kids down...
