Atari Unveils Deer Hunter Tournament Game
From Thunderboltgames.com (a site dedicated to video games):
One of biggest surprises here today at [the] E3 [gaming show in Las Vegas] for me came from Donny Clay, a producer at Atari. The game? Brace yourself: Deer Hunter Tournament. . . . The game was made even more fun by Donny’s colorful attitude. He wasn’t afraid to make a joke or two and seemed to thoroughly enjoy the product he was pitching.
“There are two kinds of hunting,” according to Donny. “There the days when you go out and get hammered with your friends and shoot at everything that moves and the kind where you go out and you cover yourself in deer piss and try to nail a big buck. This is a game for the deer piss hunters,” Donny laughed.
So, does Donny’s description make you more or less apt to buy the game?

Based on "Donny's" sales pitch, he needs to learn what huntings about and quit pushing a negative stereotype.
What a putz.

Oh and maybe idiots like Donny are part of the problem pushing this trash on today's teens and young adults.
Then we wonder why posts that highlight incidents like the "The Thrill Killers" from yesterday that describe teens/young adults just driving around killing deer and leaving them lay dead occur?
Life isn't a video game and lessons about life, wildlife conservation, hunting, ethics and morality aren't taught in them.
But hey, let's just make a big joke out of killing so Donny can make a bunch of money.
What a putz.

I question whether this moron has ever actually been hunting for deer. Because no hunter I have ever met would talk like that.
In the unlikely event that he does actually have a hunting license, his state wildlife agency should start asking some questions and revoke his license if he is in fact in the habit of hunting while intoxicated and shooting a "everything that moves." I'm pretty sure that hunting while intoxicated is a felony in most states, in which case he belongs in prison before he kills someone.
So he's either a liar or a criminal. Either way, the hunting community should shun him and his game.
