Discussion Topic: World’s Dumbest Poachers?
The report below refers to two cow-killing Pennsylvania stepbrothers as “hunters,” which they most certainly are not. What they may be are the dumbest jack-lighters on the planet. What do you think?
From an Associated Press story in the Centre Daily Times:
State police say two Fayette County stepbrothers shot and killed four cows after dusk on the first day of deer rifle hunting season.
Police say 21-year-old Ronald Dwayne Regish III, of Dunbar, and 22-year-old Allen Kessler, of Normalville, fired 10 shots at the cows in Saltlick Township. A juvenile is also charged with firing a shot.
Police say the men used a spotlight to find the animals and told police they thought the animals were deer.
Does anyone else find it a little ironic that Kessler is from Normalville?
Spotlighting cows and they claim they thought the animals were deer.
I say throw the book @ these morons.
As a matter of fact, I think in cases like these, their ability to own a firearm should be stripped from them for the rest of their lives along with any hunting privliges.

I live Not far from where this happened and whn it happened it was all over the news because they didnt know who had killed the cows..
i fully agree with the above although taking away there hunting privliges prolly wnt teach them a lesson since they are obviously not avid Hunters to begin with... I Completly agree with there Gun privliges being Strip from them...
i know they will not take it lightly seeming as its mostly farm land out there i wouldnt be suprised if the judge himself owns cows... i truly felt bad for the framer that this happened to he was on the news almost in tears about his 4 cows that were MURDERED...

agreed. they need their licenses revoked for 3 reasons:
1) They used an illegal method of taking animals
2)Even if they were deer they would have exceeded their legal bag limit
3) They're stupid enuff to mistake a cow for a deer. When wa the last time u saw black and white deer with longhorns that weigh 1500 pounds and go moo

I live in PA and thats a dern shame!I hate things like this that makes all people from a paticular area look irresponsiable.Who is dumb enough to go spotting ILEGALLY and shoot cows?It makes me question myself everytime i go into the woods....what kind of idiot could be out here?

I gotta story if not better, at least as good but I'll let it rest for right now!
A few years back, somehow my family and I got on the subject of "Moron, Idiot, Imbecile" and how the three ranked. Strangely, they ranked the "Idiot" with an IQ of 30 or less, "Moron" with an IQ of 30-60 and "Imbecile" with an IQ of 60-90!
Now, where would these guys rank? I'm not sure there is a spot on the scale for this mentality!

Small town people;Did they know the farmer and killed the cows for another reason? If not, they should be evaluated for mental health issues first, then fined, and have their hunting privledges stripped for at least 10 years.It depends on PA law what punishment the court can impose on these characters.
It does give a bad image to all hunters when people act like these two idiots have, DAVE keep us informed on this story,ok?
