Fishing Report from British Columbia

Bigbuck_17

This shouldn't happen, ever...

First day, first run, maybe my first or second cast steelheading and this unbelievable 20lb buck was in my hands.

I was shaking and smiling and almost crying. People wait their entire lives for a fish like this. Not sure why it fell in my lap like this but I'm not arguing.

I'm not able to post again until I'm out of the bush, but will give a complete update when I return.

Congrats bro, that is a sweet fish. I am with Chet, when you get home talk to us about line, leader ,weight, technique etc.
Congrats again!

For most people that is the fish of a life time.

Woodstock

What??

This guy gets paid to fly around the world, to go fishing and take pictures of it?

Then he marries a real babe who loves hiking and fishing in the Rockies - even on her honeymoon?

Then moments after stepping into a BC steelhead stream, he hooks and lands THAT fish?

And snopes.com confirms all of it!

I believe in luck, but I also believe it's purchased with the coin of opportunity and talent. Good on ye - it weren't all by accident.

Jonathan Lee Wright
